Re: Owers manual needed for Caple dishwasher

    Hi

I used to work for Maurice Lay distributors based in Avonmouth in Bristol.

The Caple(k pull) not (cap all)range of kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms, and appliances belongs to Maurice Lay if you call the offices in Avonmouth on 0870 606 9 606 with some details they can print off most of their manuals as they are kept on word and PDF files.

They din’t do many dishwashers so if you can do some basic checks before like measure in cm with width can you see how many place settings it has etc. that will help also how long ago was it installed and any numbers or you can find anywhere on it.

If you don’t have any joy I may have old catalogues I can dig out so you can work out what model it is.

    Cheers

    Jenny

No clue here as to what model you have? :con:

But if it’s the one with the ‘Red Button’ on the back panel??….Hit the button Ronnie and try again OK?

    Let me know 😀

sorry for delay Martin, my reply seems to have not ‘posted’. it’s a WTA3204GB. There’s no red button on back. it says ‘Maxx’ and ‘freedom performance’ on front of machine. Many thanks for speedy response so far.

Re: Zanussi DCS14W Leaking..Constantly Trying To Drain

Thanks everyone for your help. My PC died not long after my last post..and I’ve not been at home during the day, so the dishwasher has laid in the kitchen all forlorn. 😥
I tried phoning back these so-called Zanussi approved engineers today, (who I’ve waited in 3 times to appear), and was told tabletops are not worth repairing because of what they cost (His words, I assume he means the parts are costly??). Changed his tune since the last few times we had spoken! 👿
I can’t find anyone else, other than Service Force (too expensive, just for the call out!!) in Glasgow to look at my DCS14W. HELP!! Anyone got any phone numbers!!

Cheers AlexZou. The French use different hose connectors to us in the UK don’t they? Might not be that hard to get adapters I guess. Perhaps an appliance cruise to Calais is in order, although the prices looked a bit on the steep side to me.

I do clean the lint filter evry time, but this does not stop the ‘clean filter’ light so I wondered if I was neglecting it!

Re: Fitting belt on Zanussi Dryer

The motor has to be free moving, and swing with the belt under tension.

look again at the way the belt is routed, there HAS to be a different way.

The belt sounds like the correct length, but you can double check it against the size printed on the old belt. 1975.

so he came and has just gone. unfortunately on his way out to get the new module, he walked ‘thru’ the porch and smashed it. luckily he was ok, but a bit shaken, he was very nice and said his boss would fone me to sort out the repairs of it.
    here is the link- http://www.ofoto.com/I.jsp?c=ipha4cb.6e … 0&y=qajhc2

anyway he replaced the module to be on the safe side i showed him the picture, i havent run it yet! hopefully its ok now!

just goes to show u the hazards of the job…… 😯

Re: Fitting belt on Zanussi Dryer

    Think It’s a TC481W
Yes – we can get tension on the motor but the motor swings back and the tension’s lost.

The motor will move to allow tension on the belt but the motor won’t stay to where it’s been moved to.

Is there a tightening mechanism or bolt or something similar that we are missing?

    Thanks
