Re: NEB Vicenza oven Element failure

This was a common problem with this particular product and I believe that they changed supplier of the element.

    Oven manufacturer Nardi Italy.

Serviced (I think) by expert appliance care.

    Re: Homark oven contact details

The Homark brand was owned by Bernstein Group Holdings based at Westhoughton near Bolton – You could try them.

Ownership of the brand has recently transferred to Premium Appliance brands based in Warrington – Try them next.

These appliances were sold extensively through B+Q, as a last resort, try them.

    Re: EuroKera Hob

    EuroKera is the glass manufacturer.

Have you followed the instructions correctly?

It maybe a Fagor hob and if you wire them the wrong way then 2 elements won’t work.

    Hi there.

The Sarena dishwasher is made by Elco Brandt in France.

It has ‘A’ energy, ‘A’ wash and ‘C’ drying ratings.

    Hi Martin,

    It says:
    E-Nr WTXL2402NL/07 FD 8411 200949

On the machine itself it says TXL2402.
    This is a Dutch machine.

    Re: TV630

When you say the microtemp… you mean the round, fuse like sensor ? If so, this is short circuit as seems fine. Providing the element coils are Serv, I presume you do not recommend that the ‘ wing ‘ shaped spade connector is removed from circuit ?

    Re: TV630

I must admit that I forgot to check the element itself last night. Where is the Flood Safety Switch located please ❓ I am responsible for another TV630 with a noisy drum problem 😥 and therefore know how difficult it is to get the thing apart – especially the front off (again last night) to get to the ‘ gubbins’ inside to investigate this latest fault further. Please advise. 😯

    Re: British Gas Homecare

As a yorkshireman I have to say that what FB has posted sounds like a load of rubbish.

Lets just apply a bit of logic. A take home of 2K a month is easily into the 35K figure when you consider the employers contributions.
The 90 a month bonus start is too low for an operation that has well stock vans and back up second to none. Remember this is multi brand work and if they hit 60{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} 1st time completion they’ll be lucky, 35 completed a week would be a more sensible figure for a call bonus to start at.

Sorry FB your post is not an advert for British Gas but a disaster in the efficient running of their business. At your figures they losing money hand over fist on service and what P45 has posted as a reply just BLOWS you away.

Thats interesting, while I purchased it secondhand 5 months ago the salt compartment is still half full. We use the machine maybe 5 times a week. I will check your suggestion. Thanks, Paul

    Re: TV630

On removing the back plate last night, I checked the heater assy fuse with a multimeter and found it fully ‘S’. But I found the male spade connector Open Circuit. There is 231 VAC accross the fuse but on only side of the connector. On removing the connector, it seems this only serves to connect the supply across the element and therefore, providing the element is still intact, believe both leads can be connected together directly without any problems. Any thoughts ?
