Re: Neff Fan Oven – Removal of fan and motor

sorry. I also meant to mention that the reason I am changing it is because it seems to stick at startup but eventually it gets going (with a little help!!!) would oiling the bearings help?? if so is there a particular type of oil I should use?? 💡

even with no water in M/C and on Prog 10.

Re: Zanussi Condenser drier won’t go!

We have the same problem and surprise surprise ours is just out of warranty too!

We called a local supplier who checked the machine and has declared the circuit board dead. Total cost of replacement £134.90!!!

You can guess Zanussi won’t be on our shopping list this time.

    Woz,

All these brands are now owned by PABL.

The transfer took place on 6th December 2004.

    It’s alife again! 😛
I repeatedly switched on the machine while pressing 1 or 2 buttons, and rorating the dial.
Suddenly it showed the remaining time and started working.
After switching off/on it still worked, so hallelujah!

    Re: Whirlpool won’t run

    Hi John,
The doors on these machines are not flush. What i do is Get a large flat blade screw driver and a cloth. With the door closed place the cloth on the left hand of the rim and put the screw driver in a move the door to the right. This will push the hook in the door interlock and make it a better fit. Be careful not to push too hard as you will crack the outer rim of the door.

Does the fridge get very cold so it freezes the milk?[/S

quote]Simmon if you havent yet bee informed of you problem then here it is:- No the fridge should not get so cold as to freez your milk. However its a bonus that you know its capable of doing so meaning that the gas inside the fridge is ample and the compressor is also good working condition, Theas are both ok means that its somthing and nothing and i pesonaly would lay odds at the fault being isolated to the thermo stat being your deffinate problem. Weather or not its been put on the max cold setting or its stuck on realy does not matter but that will be your fault? Turn down the thermostat first to the bottom no 1 if you can hear a click as you do and you also here the compressor stop thats all you have to do if it dosent switch of the compressor then remove the thermostst completeley (UNPLUG THE MAINS PLUG FIRST AND MAKE SHURE ITS THE RIGHT PLUG IF THERES A FEW)ISSOLATE the wires do not let them touch and turn the fridge in to see if it stayes off there its of ? Get new thermostat IF it stays on time for a solution caulled a heath robinson. THE EASY WAY OUT AT MINIMAL EXPENSE COS IF IT STAS ON PROBABLY THE FAULT IS YOU COMPRESSORHORT so fit one of thouse timmers to your mains plug and the fridge in line so its a manual on off function recomend 12 hour on and three hours off to start with so you can up the time on and off see good look Timers can be baught for around 3 quid at jet petrol station when they have them or b and q

    Re: diplomat dishwasher adp 8224

i just presumed it was a fault as it shows up on the screen (the dishwasher is integral) and wasn’t there before – yes the crockery is cold and not as dry as before, but i have not selected this as i wouldn’t know how to. The dishwasher was in the house when i moved and the manual doesn’t mention any such symbol or whether i can select it!!! 😕

Re: SARENA Dishwasher (who makes them?)

The Eurolec one is still a Fagor machine, although it will be changing soon to an Elco Brandt machine. Eurolec is a Waterline distribution brand.

Maurice Lay is branded Caple and it is Whirlpool one, just like CDA.

Had engineer out replaced fan and thermistor. Still same problem. Engineer says it could be heater motor? Told me he wouild replace it free of charge but now cannot be contacted. On further investigation address in yellow pages does not exist. Contacted trading standards and advised to contact police. Cannot serve a writ as no address to send to. Cannot be charged as has replaced items paid for. Anyone else had similar problems? Any ideas as to next step?

Re: Grill Element for a Arrow Fan Oven

I think this an OEM product supplied by Teba to B+Q.

The factory is currently closed in Turkey and therefore parts may be an issue.

They are trying to sell the business…..
