Re: Gay rights for Penguins !!

    Subject: : Dopey

The Seven Dwarfs went to the Vatican, and because they are ‘THE DWARFS’,

they are ushered in to see the Pope.

Dopey leads the pack. “Son,” says the Pope, “What can I do for you?”

Dopey replies, “Excuse me, your Excellency, but are there any dwarf nuns?

    in Rome?”

The Pope wrinkles his brow at the odd question, thinks for a moment and
answers, “No, Dopey, there are no dwarf nuns in Rome.”

In the background, a few of the dwarfs start giggling. Dopey turns
around and gives them a glare, silencing them.

Dopey turns back, “Your Worship, are there any dwarf nuns in all of
    Europe?”

The Pope, puzzled now, again thinks for a moment and then answers, “No
Dopey, there are no dwarf nuns in Europe.”

This time, all the other dwarfs burst into laughter. Once again, Dopey
turns around and silences them with an angry glare.

Dopey turns back to the Pope and says, “Mr. Pope, are there ANY dwarf
    nuns anywhere in the world?”

“I’m sorry, my son, there are no dwarf nuns anywhere in the world.”

The other dwarfs collapse into a heap, rolling and laughing, pounding
the floor, tears rolling down their cheeks as they begin chanting….

    “Dopey shagged a penguin!…Dopey shagged a penguin!

    😛

Re: Electrolux Built in double oven fault

    Hi Dave and Bryan,
Thanks very much for your very quick replies. I will check the elements soon and let you know what I find. I am a field service engineer, but not on white goods, and my son is an electrician so between us we should be able to locate the fault. The oven is just under five years old so I am not sure if that is the typical lifespan of these elements. As you say Dave it may well be that two have blown. Thanks again, Paul.

    Hi

this switch is for when the appliance is fitted in an enviroment that drops to a temprature below 13oc.

it allows a heater to come on when the compressor turns off therefore making the thermostat to switch back on.

there is no need to use this function is a normal central heated home.

    hope this helps

Re: serial numbers to identify country of manufacture

    Thanks

We will probably go for either a WFO2466GB or a WFO2866GB, unless we can get a really good deal on a WFX2467GB or WFX2867GB.

I am tempted by the nearly halved noise and approx 300litres of water saved per year of the last 2, but am not prepared to pay an extra £100 for those benefits.

If I remember correctly these ovens were built by Electrolux in Spennymoor, County Durham. They came with two metal rightangle brackets which were screwed to the sides of the adjacent units and the oven would slide in and rest on these. It would be held in place by screws through the lip above the top oven into the bench top. Brackets should be available as a spare part. Hopefully someone on the site can assist with spares.

    hi

It may well be that one of your elements has failed and now causing an earth tripping your electrics, you will need a new element but which one an engineer will be able to advise.

have a look in repairs@ section and a engineer may be able to help

    Re: blomberg fridge freezer problems

    Hi

Try this it may help but if the problem reappears then it will be a engineers visit i’m afraid.

Turn the appliance off for 24 hrs with the freezer door open and then close the doors and restart the appliance as normal, dont refill for andother 24 hrs to make sure the freezer does go back down to -21.

Yes you will have to find somewhere for your frozen food but it may well cure your problem without the need for a engineer visit.

Re: Part number for De Dietrich metal separator strip

Thanks for the prompt reply. It did arrive in the same box, and had instructions for its installation but unfortunately no reference to a part number. I’ve tried contacting a few kitchen installers but none seemed to have heard of this thing. The De Deitrich/Brandt parts line (01256 308022) is on a permanent answer machine and their sales line haven’t heard of it. Even the people who supplied me the machines haven’t heard of such a part. Bizarre. The one I’ve fitted underneath the first oven looks good, finishes the cabinet off nicely..just wish I could get hold of another one.. oh well.. 😕

Does anyone have the part number of the “upgraded” inlet valve mentioned here. I’m not convinced that all these IWMS replacements mentioned in numerous postings are absolutely necessary. The IWMS seems only to be a plastic moulding with a couple of solenoids. What can go wrong with it! I’ve had three replaced and still not had the fault cured permenantly. Not had the valve swapped though.

    Thanks AMS
I’ll try slackening it the other way now 😳 I’ll also get a new motor / fan. These are priced at £60 from neff. Is that a good buy??
