    Re: ADP 5966 Fault

    hi,
E3 is the main control card at fault, fits at the back as you look from the back on the right hand side.

Not easy to get hold off and will require the exact model number and serial number.

Re: Owers manual needed for Caple dishwasher

Go down to your local shed and look at the dishwashers on sale….read the owners manual that will be inside the display product. They are all the same really, big plates on the bottom smaller on the top, dont restrict the spray arm under the top basket by placing to tall an object on the lower tray. Try to fill your dishwasher to maximise the efficiency and stay away from 3 in 1 tablets. Salt is good for dishwashers and bad for slugs so use it and don’t forget the rinse aid, this is required. All crockery should angle when at rest on a basket so there are no pools of water left when its finished.

    Re: CFC Gases

in a single unit the cfc propellent used to make the cabinet is insignificant to the problem of global warming. There is no danger from a small crack in the surface insulation at all. The real problem lies not with fridges and the cfc’s either in the insulation or within the gas used as a refrigerant…no the real problem is called America which spews out over 50{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of worlds total harmful waste which damages the ozone layer.
The whole issue of recovering cfc is made a mockery, by America, although that does not excuse us from trying to help. In reality we make no difference, all the legislation and time and effort of engineers all over the uk counts for Zip.

    Very elequent as usual Kevin:

Network-Dasa was a concept set up by a few of us in Dasa yourself included. The idea behind it was to offer the services of Dasa members to our industry. To promote those companies who are willing to work to a recognised and registered code of practice.

I don’t think its strictly true that we upset a number of people in the Dasa Organisation, it is more to the point that they didn’t truley understand our aims. It was not to set up another work provider but merely to be a vehicle to help its members.

Sadly your are correct it has been put on the back burner, more though due to the fact that the volunteers do not have endless free time and bottomless pocketsto pursue these avenues. Also that it lost one of its major volunteers. That is you Kev, it was sad to see you leave through infortunate circumstances and it would be nice to have your input and support back in the future

Re: Maintenance manual for White Knight WK787 dryer?

    Sorted!!

As Dave_Conway summised it is a condenser dryer, and the reset is under a red plastic cover. However, I didn’t discover that until I removed the back plate. However, sorted now – I’m a happy bunny.

hi, we have service manuals for most crosslee dryers, this one included.

they are very handy and 4213 094 82401 is a number on the front page of this manual…it might be the manuals part number as its repeated on every page of 8.

    Re: Nardi

Thanks for reply. Just had a look at the link you attached – but I need a round plastic charcoal filter rather than a flat sheet.

Or can I use a flat sheet instead of the round filter?

The problem is there is no model number on the cooker hood, and we don’t have the booklet. So no idea what type to buy!

Maybe I should just replace the whole thing…
