Re: Diplomat ADP8132 dishwasher not heating the water

You may be pleasantly surprised to find that the stat has tripped out. With the power off, remove the bottom 2 screws in the panel giving you access to the underside of the machine. You won’t need to remove the dishwasher.

If you look inside the dishwasher, (where the dishes go) tou will see the element, and on the left hand side, near the front the stat.

Reach inside the machine where the underside of the stat is and you’ll find that there is a small red button. push this, and if it clicks, you’ve fixed it!

Have you by any chance used any cleaning method which has caused the dishwasher to foam excessively? This will cause the trip-out.

    PULL THE PLUG FIRST!

    Regards

    Guys

My TDC62 has stopped drying – it just tumbles! – do you reckon it is the thermal cut-outs that need replaced, and if so, where did you get them?

    Cheers

That’s an odd one. I don’t think that actually is a fault code, they would normally be F01, F02 etc etc.

What do these F codes mean. I keep getting this F01. It goes on for a while and then stops. Mine is a Evolution WE16. Great machine!

Yes! the service people are rubbish. Wouldn’t touch them with a 20′ barge pole.

hello from cyprus, weather even hotter than hotperloni are trying to make our lives..

I have passed on the news to certain people who are here and if you are a connect agent….there is plenty of work to come in the next 6 months, Dont be too quick to sign up to a contract you will lose money on trying to withdraw to create service call space.

I am looking for the two white plastic cllips that keep the top door in the freezer compartment closed. They look a bit like white plastic hose clips. ➡

Martin, thanks for the e.mail pointing me in the direction of the heating element. Strange how this can cause the fault I was experiencing, just relieved that it is all sorted now. Top Site!!!
Thanks to all that passed on their wisdom, if only everyone was as helpful and not just out to make a fast buck.

spot on Kheath. Insurance has come under close scrutiny and without it the DXNS groupd would be stuffed. The rise in sp for dxns is due to closure of unprofitable high street presence and concentration on out of town sites with parking and cheaper retail space.

All a question of management of risk.

Siemens d/w has been installed this morning and is scrubbing up the breakfast plates as I write.

    Re: Condenser Dryer with sensor

    Hi Martin,

Tks for the recommendation. However WTL6307 is a bit dearer than my budget. What do u think of Hotpoint models in general? It’s got a 7kg load (bigger than most). I needed more info about 1) it’s reliability 2) after sales service (is it hassle-free etc. )as I’ve never had anything from Hotpoint before. Comments from anyone else about your experiences with Condenser Dryer + Sensor would be welcome too.

    B/rgds,
    NN
