Re: servis m3510 wont spin ? only 1 year old !!!!!!!!!!!

My washing machine is a blucher inox M8144 and the module is exactly the same.

    I have the following symptoms:
When it should spin it won’t get up to speed. It just kinda goes back and forth at a lower speed.

Now What I would like to ask is:

Is this indeed what you saw on the machine you were working on and did replacing the resistor do the trick.

    Hope you can help

    Re: SMEG Repairs

I agree on appalling Smeg service, and build quality – all the cash seems to go on marketing rather than engineering. I’m now replacing all the builder provided Smeg white goods with sensible German stuff.

Smeg are responsible for the only fridge problems I have ever had, a washing machine that nearly burnt down my flat & an extractor that barely extracts !!

    Re: LG spares?

The item number is A153 liste a a handle.
the LG site has 2 WM1480FHD models listed and ifyou go into the first one one the 3rd page of model listings and click onto the first listing of this model and then into list available parts its on the first page of that, all door parts are listed as seperate items for once,I havent checked any other models to see if there available for them.

    Re: Hotpoint Advertise Franchises!

There is also the two clauses in the nesn contract to consider here. All are still working under that contract, those of you who do not have a contract may wish to seek an opinion on this……”by doing the work you accept the terms and conditions as stated in the contract”, a legal opinion should be sought.

Why, because if this work finds a new home you will not be able to take it on as that will leave you wide open to be sued for breach of contract by NESN, something they have already done to an x member.

perhaps at the Dasa AGM someone might enquire as to Nesn intentions to carry on enforcing their contract.

Re: D&G independent network/GB DAR work

seems to me that policys starting with C4 are comet sold appliances and theres no shortage of them over the years we have been doing the work.

You have to believe D&G know what they are doing so I agree with kwatt. nothing suspicious there….

    Re: Ariston Magherita 2000 AB 65 X

Following the above thread, yes I have been using 30-40degrees for 3 years to wash. The water here should be soft water cos’ its drinkable from the tap.

On closer inspection between the seal and the spin drum, the external of the drum, I found that there are mouldy scum there. It almost look like the grey specks on my laundry.
Cleaned up whatever I could on the rubber seal. Can’t reach the drum.

Tried an empty hot wash(60 degree max) with some bleach. Afterwhich load the machine with laundry for wash. Result lesser specks.

I am guessing the whole drum external is covered with this scum. Is there an effective way of clearing this, short of dismantling the whole machine? More hot wash with more bleach?

    Thanks alot!

Hi Simon46, I think the machine is getting louder on the spin.
The doorseal is grey in color whilst the stain on my laundry is dark grey.

Kwatt, I will try out the suggestion tonight when I reach home and get back ASAP.

    Thanks you guys!

Thanks machineman….. a point I have considered. In such circumstance I would seek evidence that he had completed a course with Siemens and had specific product training which was certified before letting him loose on my d/w.

Mind you, I feel that my first port of call actually would be this site – at least contributors give advice which appears knowledgeable and gives the ordinary punter the opportunity to put the engineer on the spot.

5 years warranty has been purchased so I hope that I do not need to persue a claim.

hi kwatt, thanks for replying. 🙂

    I have read this http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/help/stai … tains.html

My washing machine is 3 years old and til now have not clean the filter before so I thought I should get that cleaned up before i hunt for other causes. 😳

The grey specks is happening in every wash now. My wife has to re-wash some of the laundry by hand.

I thought the filter was at the bottom of the machine. Remove two bolts and it turn out not to be the filter, but some magnetic stuff I guess.

    Thanks alot!

    Re: bauknecht leaking!!

Spent some time trying to find a reputable make that wasn’t 3 in 1 and they just don’t seem to do them, or else the labels are just plain miss-leading.
In the end decided to try Sainsburys tablet that wasn’t 3 in 1 and IT DOESN’T LEAK !!!!
Thanks for your help lads and I just wonder how many machines (with good seals!) are churning around with a mass of foam in the bottom, not working properly- and the users, a bit like we were, wondering why every so often the dishes were not so clean as they used to be.

    Thanks for your help

    Tim
