Possibly this question should be open to the whole association?

Let someone else give us their feelings rather than them being “guided”

    W161 flash code for 8 flashes ?

    hi there all

I need some help with the same machine.

    My problem is intermittent.

I put it on my usual machine programme – ‘none fast coloured’ (programme 4). The machine starts for a few seconds, it takes in water and then starts to turn and then it halts, drains out the water then selector dial just clicks round and round. I note the flashes red lamp/light emits. It flashes eight times, then pauses, then flashes 8 times again pauses and so on.

Anyone of you good people on here know what this error code indicates.

Your help will be most appreciated.

    thanks

Re: Whirlpool adp5966 dishwaher F3 error

The eprom on these appliances is not reprogrammed by the use of what whirlpool call a SAM module. All this does is to reset the error code, and these sam modules have been a complete flop.

A very expensive piece of rubbish that a good engineer does not need.

In fact on two occasions the base module has packed in altogether when the fault code has been reset, and guess what Whirlpool Technical have no explanation as to why, the fault at the time was auto syphoning due to poor installation, reseting the module ###### it.

I don’t think UKW should or could take over the DASA mantle they are two different entities.

If everything does go tits up it may be worth cherry picking though. Use what there is to the groups advantage

    Time will tell

The point of being in DASA , thats a very difficult one to answer at present.

Nobody should be promoting their own agenda’s we should all be working together as a cohesive unit.

At present this only appears to be happening with a few of us. We need to wait and see what the outcome of the meeting in a couple of weeks brings and decide from there.

I personally fully agree with the principles of DASA and would hate to see it fail. Likewise, I am not prepared to devote loads of my time, as I know other willing people are, Ted, Ken, Dave, Mark and Del. If we do not get the support of the membership and there input WHATS THE POINT ?

People are too quick to critise but when it comes to action disappear into the wood work

    Re: Upright Freezer

Fantastic, thank you. I have 3 other Bosch whitegoods so am delighted to hear that it rates for freezers too. Will look at the options in the Bosch range.
(I’ve just discovered this site, and it is great!! Well done.)

    Wow .. quick reply! Thanks.

I need a full height (about 5 feet), normal width one, please, with drawers rather than shelves. Nothing else fancy.

    Re: What would you recommend?

My Bosch dishwasher, tumbledrier and washing machine have been performing solidly and reliably for 5+ years …. I just love them! Also have a 20 year old Zanussi fridge-freezer which is still going well. None have needed repairs, but the dishwasher needed an inside flush due to the quality of our water supply!

Cheers guys very helpful of you. I could do with ordering the part bonzaco but you’ve got no e-mail address showing. If you drop me a line at KenPimlott@LineOne.net I’ll be able to get in touch with you. Sounds like the part I need as it definetely looks to be a siphoning device of some sort.

Will I ve read the subscribers bit and It would appear that is the direction that you must now move in Ken.

You put far too much into to UKW for very little if no reward at present. I know its your hobby but come on you need to get out of that Renault
