    Hi jk,

    is the adaptor between the timer knob and timer spindle ok.The adaptor locates into the timer knob to select program.If it’s broken it might not be selecting the correct program.You will have to remove consul front to check.

    you’ll find the number on the body of the timer.

    Hi Guys,

    wrong info on this one. Freezer working ok, fridge not cooling.This appliance is less than a month old and the evaporator is solid with ice build up, hence why the fridge is not cooling. Is there any particular place to start looking to cure this problem? Any help grateful.

    I have told customer to defrost the freezer and let me know if she has any more problems with it. Just thought I’d check with you guys for future.

    Hi Flash,

    have you checked for the usual chaffed wiring underneath near front at balance weight, or broken wires inside insulation at motor plug?

    had one recently throwing up variety of faults.
    Turned out to be earth fault at motor.Worth a try.

    common fault on these machines. Relay behind consul panel easily enough fitted Part no. HPT1701624.

    Hi Greg,

    not for end cap motors just the carbons with the tag and spring.
    Don’t have a model number for fitting, it was for stock.

    I had a Zanussi d/w before xmas doing this and turned out to be wall socket was faulty.Is the on/off switch ok.
