    Simon,
these timers have a tendency to cause that problem. If the tacho is
secure then it’s likely to be the timer.Reconditioned from EMW £39.90 + VAT.

by the way, it could still be the module even if there are no blown tracks, but you can try a module from EMW and return it for £5.87 if it doesn’t cure your problem.

have you removed module for a visual? If not I suggest you do, you’ll probably find a blown track.
As Chris said you can get a replacement for £41 inc vat from EMW.

easiest way is to split cabinet and remove drum and fit new seal and microswitch. It’s not a difficult job. Just check where the tensioning spring attaches to motor before you remove the belt.

    Hi Martin,

I was at machine and put it on a 60 degree wash which showed 80 mins on display and let it run for 15 mins. It was heating as the glass was hot, drum action ok and it spun ok. Why does it show 80 mins for all programs though? I told customer to time the actual time for 60 degree and 40 degree washes and let me know. As it is built under, is it possible to gain access to most components by taking off front panel?

    Re: LG GRL207TUJA

    Hi Guys,

It wasn’t the solenoid, it was the bar that opens the flap which either allows ice cubes through or crushed ice. There’s a couple of crimped bits on the bar which are supposed to fit either side of a metal clip and stops the bar from moving to and fro. Because the bar wasn’t seated between these crimps, the end of the bar was snagging at the flap end.

    Hi Gav,
does the pan have a good flat bottom with good contact with the hob surface? If it doesn’t that could be your problem.
