is the solenoid on your dispenser round or a red square one?If it’s round you need dispenser complete SMG 812890061 £23.99, if it’s a square one you can get Dispenser SM16100 for £9.99 and use the solenoid from it to replace faulty one, both from Masterpart.

have you tried checking the tacho magnet on the end of the motor?These quite often come loose and cause this. You might have to remove cover on top of tacho to check.

Hi Rob,
had one of these today with prewash flashing. To reset I held start/pause button down whilst switching on machine. Found that motor plug had been disconnected, possibly by vibration or heavy load. Problem solved.
