The repaired ❗ board from EMW was faulty.
Tony sent me another one to try and its been working fine.alfie
ParticipantRe: Hotpoint Aqualtis AQGD 169
That sounds very technical to me and I don’t have any Hotpoint test equipment but if I understand you correctly the board is faulty.
Thanks Baron

ParticipantRe: ISE 1607
Would really appreciate some input guys as I’ve not been to a repair on a 1607 before.
If the thermistor is ok what reading / value should it be?
If it’s not a heat fault what else should I be looking for?
Have I read about a reboot somewhere? And if so would this help? & how is it done?
Is the customer doing something wrong perhaps?
Cheers in advance

ParticipantRe: Hotpoint SDW 60 Dishwasher
Thanks Jim.
I know the heater is working and that its not down to earth, that leaves module, relay or wiring prob.Is there a way of testing relay or is it just visual inspection?
Do you have a wiring diagram I could look at?
Thanks again.

ParticipantRe: ISE 10 CD 601W
Thanks for that always useful if you’ve never worked on one before.
Turned out to be a condenser problem. Although customer said they had cleaned the unit they hadn’t done it properly.
I.e. you could see through the condenser side ways but it was blocked looking length ways. At least they know now.A clue was a lot of excess water in the condenser and chamber.
I also removed the pump to see weather it was blocked. Bit of job, you have to take the back panel off. Not as easy to access as the Hotpoint variants.
Hope this helps anyone who’s not seen one before.

ParticipantRe: CANDY T/D CIC 60
Read it again Helo.
Acording to the customer it used to be a push in stay in type switch. In fact when I got there it was stuck in with a piece of gaffer tape and was working .
