Thanks Martin, I’ll try to get one through Qualtex. Seems odd that Connect don’t supply the instruction sheet is it not a genuine part ?

Thanks Paul I’ll ask if they leave it switched on.Do you know if the pcb is plug in and play or will it require any configuration ?

Thanks Captain, I’ll bear in mind what you say about the cap but as she complained about the dryer being noisy first I’m thinking the motor may well have gone west.

ParticipantRe: Neff u1422NOGB/03 oven knob loose
Ordered a guide for this oven but unfortunately to no avail. I now think the part required is the plastic support that clips onto the guide. It also looks like this comes with the facia at quite a price 😯 . This part seems to sandwich between the two plys of the facia panel, if that makes sense ?
Could anyone confirm this is the case please ?Allan.

Thanks A1 I thought that would be the culprit.Would you be kind enough to let me know if it should clip to the two metal lugs behind the facia ?

ParticipantRe: Indesit WIA 121UK module
I will need to check if the old eeprom is surface mounted or a plug in type Allsorts. It’s in a holiday cottage and I’m having difficulty getting access at the moment. The m/c’s hardly been used, most people staying there take the washing home with them.
Thanks for the input.

ParticipantRe: Indesit WIA 121UK module
Might just do that Martin 😉 but out of interest, I’m assuming that a smart card is not required to programme these should I get an eeprom from Qualtex ?

ParticipantRe: Indesit WIA 121UK module
Sorry, should have searched :rolls: apparently it does require a plug in eeprom.
