Because testing of the thermostat would require dismantling of the oven we cannot advise you on that for safety reasons, other than to say Click here to find a local engineer
What you can do is to put an oven thermostat inside the oven and set it to a designated heat setting to see if the light on the oven goes out at the correct temperature.

Hi, at the end of that number you will see a /01 /02 /03 or /04 … This would be needed when ordering your part… the price of the panels are about £200

You may have two different problems there… The fan can make a noise as it gets older and/or warped and therefore may need replacing…
However, the burning of the food would normally be down to a failure of the oven thermostat which can also be replaced.

If you ask them and give them the model of the machine that it is going on, they will sell you the programmed version (usually a different number)
Some engineers like EMW could buy them un-programmed as they have the capability to program them theirselves

ParticipantRe: WTA Insurances
We are still working on it, but… The insurer is going to do the poster so that the offer is clear to all but restricts the offer to WTA.. This means that you either have to be a member of the WTA or become a member of the WTA to be able to uptake on the facilities, benefits and/or offers.

ParticipantRe: Hotpoint WMA37
This indicates that the machine has a problem with the button, the door lock, or the board that controls the door lock…

If you keep trying to operate the machine in this condition you could damage it further.

Yes you do.. But you can suggest that the client/customer disconnect the bayonet themselves (as that is not illegal for them to do)

ParticipantRe: I can’t find it !
The filter is underneather the machine, inside the sump hose, at the back.

ParticipantRe: 2 Pole Voltage / Continuity testers.
I use them for timing the heating cycle on washing machines, for checking operating wattages, and for testing the working wattage of existing elements.. They are not much cop for anything else.
