Re: ahhhhh the back of my beko has melted

First and foremost, turn off the electricity supply to the unit.

Secondly, Take some photos os the damage and the serial number.

Third, Since your appliance is under 2 years old, contact Beko in an attempt to aquire a repair from them for free.

Finally, if you get refuse by Beko, FIND AN ENGINEER

    Re: Another joke.

I , The penis, ask for a raise for the following reasons:
I work physically, I totally put myself head first into my job with all my effort
I work to great depths, I work weekends and holidays and I work at high temperatures.
I also have to perform my work in dark little places that have no good air circulation.

Dear Penis, having carefully examined your request, we have come to the decision to reject it out of following reasons:
You never work eight hours in a row, you sleep immediately after your work is done, you can never work a double shift, you give to little attention to security regulations Eg. Wear protective clothing during the job. You are going to retire long before the age of 65, you always leave your work area without cleaning it, and every time We see you leave the work area with a suspicious bag.

The fact that the machine requires partial dismantling in order to connect the element and apply the other procedures that are required to take place to prevent further problems or fire from the machine is a good indicator that this job should be done only by someone who is competant in all three fields.

It would not be wise for any DIYer to interfere with electrical items on an appliance. Notwithstanding this, the job you suggest would require some dismantling of the machine…

I suggest you search at the following link to find an approved engineer to whom you can consider trustworthy. FIND AN ENGINEER

A big thank you to all the staff and co-opts of the WTA for an informative meeting.
I am already excited about and looking forward to the next meeting on ’17th February 2012 at the Coventry Hilton’ with the prospectus discussed at this meeting.

    Well done to all involved.

Yes Martin, but before progression to that stage the matter requires pondering and ascertaining of the support level for your views within your own ranks.

Martin ยป Tue Sep 13, 2011 2:09 pm wrote:Talking about your gripes on here may well ‘get it off your chest’ so to speak. And indeed many will reply in total agreement to your views, fair enough.

Talking about it within these walls allows you to get a full view of all the angles of the issue to be complained about… (ie. there is this .. yes, but what about this.. not only this but they did that too.) It is no good just reporting them for one misdemeanor when they may have ten of them and some more serious than others.

Good show Martin .. might be worth a go.. although I am not sure how much clout it would add to the hammer that Ade has already hit them with.

Martin ยป Tue Sep 13, 2011 2:09 pm wrote:DASA is a different matter (that almost rhymes when I read it back! ๐Ÿ˜ˆ ). Trade Associations are ‘self regulating’ so that is a little more complex a subject for me to elaborate on further at this point. I’ll feel the heat on that issue so I will back off from further comment and just stick to the basic theme of the thread.

On this bit I don’t agree with you. TAs may be self regulating, but if they advertise a COP and they take subscriptions, they too must adhere to what they advertise and can therefore be held to account for areas of the COP they do not uphold or for any false or misleading advertising they make.

Yeah, sorry Ken, bad timing for that sort of humour.

    K.
The ball started to roll with repaircare and Pacifica have just acted as a strker for the other team… I have no respect for Pacifica or any company in their group after allowing this to happen.

I am not saying this has happened, but if I were in bodies thaat matter in this sort of situation, I would be checking the back pockets of some people, together with the published COP of DASA and seeing if advertising rules or the law is broken in other ways.
