    Sounds like a motor related problem. Get into the diagnostics and see what the specific code is.

    I believe that you are supposed to drill out the pins with a great big long drill bit (forget the size)and use bolts and special washers that come with the kit.

    I think you need to lift the back of the lid up, as the front is hooked under the control panel.

    Very strange indeed. Just a thought, have you condidered fitting a ceramic (non halogen) hotplate?

    Common problem with these are dry joints on the pcb.

    Hi Richard,
    You’re right, it’s the old thread type, 2 connections and a small “D” shaft. Just over 270 degrees range of movement. Just hitting the road now, but will be back at lunchtime to sort things out. PM me with address details and I’ll send you one.

    Doesn’t this machine have a timer? Worth checking the wiring loom inside the door. If that’s ok, then considering what you’ve checked already, could be the timer.
