I would steer clear of the indesit. May pay to get an engineer to look at yours 1st. May be something simple like a motor capacitor, does it hum instead of turning ?

Have to agree with jackal. It is a must to have been insulation tested before it went out. As for the fault itself it does sound pretty terminal

Their not earthed like said because they are double insulated. Have had loads of 3a fuses blow when the bulb goes, the chimney ones are worst where they put the plug behind the stack and almost impossible to get at

You are asking for advice on something you shouldn’t be going anywhere near if you’re not fully trained and have the necessary qualifications even if it is you’re own appliance.
For peace of mind if nothing else as Martin said get someone in thats gas competentAndy jones

The only advice you will probably get is to get a gas safety engineer to look at it
