When you say a noise does it sound like the motor running or is it a humming noise ?

One thing I did once to get a customer out of trouble was to drill a few pilot holes top and bottom of the condenser and then use a piece of thin garden wire to pull the wavy bits into shape.

If their close neighbours/friends then obviously I’d do a good deal but no way would I supply parts free.

Yep. Good friends expect to pay and always offer, it’s friends you only hear from when something goes wrong that wind me up
