Have been with Santander for ages now. Fixed monthly fee of £15 no matter how many cheques are banked.

    Re: YOUVE GOTTA LAUGH ?

One of my favourite bits about this job ( there are very few these days ) is the diversity of the places we get called out to.
One of my favourites is a mansion with electric gates and a very long driveway down to this magnificent building, the owner who lives on his own is never there, just gives me the code to the gates and all doors are left unlocked, when I win the lottery …………….

Yes. Like I said double the seal back in towards the drum so you’re just left with the seal connected to the drum, rather than trying to get it over the outside part first
Should be easy to get spring on , normally only takes a few minutes to completely replace one of these
If you really are struggling then I would advise getting an engineer to fit

No seal on first. Then lubricate the spring. Put spring on at the bottom them put hands in the spring and just feed it around

Re: HELP- Putting inner seal back on Hotpoint BWM129 ??

Try folding the front part of the seal back inside the drum so you’re just left with the bit connecting to the drum, put some washing up liquid on the seal and spring then as I said start from the bottom and stretch seal around
Failin that there’s not much more I can suggest other that to get an engineer to sort it

Start from the bottom, hands either side and stretch it around. No trick to it

Seal first, some use a bit of washing up liquid around the lip and seal, then fit the spring after

Correct, zip it as tight as you can then hook the ends together
Still do it my own way though

I’m pretty certain that looking from the top the far left is the pink/white and the far right is the grey

I’ve heard lots of different ways to get the clamp back on, I find the easiest way is to get it on 3/4 of the way round and then just lever it over the lip. Have done a few this way now

Most people are walking away from the said machine due to the hook and wire clamp, not me as I found a nifty trick using cable tie.

Yea I’ve heard it done that way
