    They should be shot for that
    I’ve heard lots of different ways to get the clamp back on, I find the easiest way is to get it on 3/4 of the way round and then just lever it over the lip. Have done a few this way now

    Yep they can be a bit of a problem if you haven’t done one before, I created new swear words the first time I did one 🙂

    Take the front of the seal off and start from scratch. Don’t attempt to remove front, it can be done easily from the door

    At least f it does go wrong the parts are very competitive compared to other makes

    That’s how it should be, I’m thinking you may have a problem with the pcb

    Check the polystyrene float is seated properly, the link rod it connects to should be down

    Make sure none of the buttons have stuck in, should be easy to pull them off and give them a quick clean, if not then looks like a faulty timer

    Does it make a humming noise, if so there’s a problem with the wash pump

    There’s no earth connection on the element you have there, the connections will be exactly the same

    I totally agree by the way, but I feel happy that when I’ve tested an appliance that it IS safe, it’s all about the blame and claim society we now live in
    I went to a seawards seminar earlier in the year and talk is that they are looking to regulate the industry but at the moment that’s all it is just talk

    Same as in most trades, you get the odd cowboy that then tars everyone
