    Re: JTM struggling?

Thanks. We are wta members so should be okay.

I am worried that they go down losing all that and we lose money.

So far nothing has been said by them that I know of.

Good job by the wta in at least trying.

I hear that dave highton has gone to jtm or 0800.

    Gorenje to repaircare.

Most of the rest to jtm.

Chances of seeing any money from some are slim although we are contemplating invoicing customers directly are there others who are doing this as well? It might not get my money back but will cause mayhem with the retailers and make me feel better.

Perhaps they are trying to weed out those that they are getting a poor service from or that are causing poor reviews online.

When searching our company I came across one of these and started to look more to find some very scary comments about repaircare.

Who is go local? the page about the company on their website says nothing really.

There is almost no information on the website and half the links do not work such as the terms and privacy. Seems to me that is a bit dodgy.

Presently I know nothing other than some company wants me to do work that may or may not be for comet and may or may not pay me. Is this company known to ukw or wta?

    Re: D&G Contract

For me there is a reduction in the parts markup of 10{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} and from speaking to others it seems the actual mark up can differ.

I gain under £1 with the rate increase.

That means on an average of £30 parts per job I am actually £2 per job worse off than I was.

To add insult the terms ask more of us yet pays us less.

Since the last rate increase diesel for the vans has risen by over 50{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d}.

I think someone in domestic and general is having a laugh at our expense thinking that we all wouldn’t realise that we were being screwed over.

    Re: D&G Contract

From what I see this is a cut in rates really and with the cost of diesel the way it is among many other things it is not well timed.

I also note a lot of confidentiality things in the new contract, I wonder if that is an attempt to suppress any chatter on here about the rates and how different rates are being paid to different companies.

Or is this a reaction to the people that did not accept the fixed repair rate.

Would it not be better to keep it all in one place so that everyone can see what a sad and bitter person the protractor in all of this appears to be.

I do not understand you drdill as in another thread I am watching with interest you say you want all the indies to work as one and yet you seem intent on assisting what looks to be a loose cannon cause mayhem among the same. Or are you acting on behalf of someone else I wonder in this thread and perhaps in your own interest on another.

    I will watch with interest.

It is supposed to be correct that 7.5 tonne wagons will be used to do deliveries, installations and service work all at the same time.
