    Re: Teka washer/dryer

Could be anything really from too much water pressure, machine tilting forward too much or even a sock stuck up inside inlet pipe from draw to drum…. does it come out when m/c is filling or when on spin?

    Re: Siemens washmachine pump cover

Sounds like something is jammed inside the pump. Turn machine onto its back , try turning it back and forth. If that doesn’t work pump off. And remove what ever is jammed inside. hth 😀

Bypassing the clock shouldn’t compromise the safety , its only there as a timer for automated cooking etc. The safety cutouts are there for that reason.

Hi mate it really does sound like the clock is set to auto. i had one last week that had me stumped , even though it was set to manual i found that i still had to set the clock by pushing and pulling the different knobs and resetting the clock… you could also just try by passing the clock all together? hth DJ

    Re: Gas Safe Inspector

Sorry just re read the original post and no he can’t do that by himself, he would have to have a gas safe engineer with him.

    Re: Gas Safe Inspector

Back in march I did a “fast track” gas course and I now have to complete a portfolio of work showing me working in set number and types if gas appliances (under the supervision of a gas safe engineer) so is say that gas inspector is being a bit of a jobs worth by the sounds of it…
