ParticipantRe: Beko WMA 1715S
I`ve had a few that just need reset,
try this first before replacing the board
Turn power button off (not at wall)
Select 90 degree wash
Press Start and Cancel button down at same time for 3 seconds and turn power button on whilst still holding buttons down – Start light will flash.
Leave power on.
Select any Spin position.
Press Start and Cancel button at same time again for 3 seconds – other buttons may start to flash – if they do, press Start and Cancel button together again for 3 seconds.
Machine should be re-set ready for use.bazza500
ParticipantRe: replacing door hinge on servis m6513s
thanks for the replies but if i thought i could get away with normal rivets I would have it done by now.
The rivets in question are countersunk perfectly into the front panel so as everything is nice and flush when its done.
If anyone has the part no. for the tool to do this I`d be grateful.

ParticipantRe: R/master Elan
I think it is P038435 and there`s a picture on connect website so you can check before you buy.
It also shows a dual element in the exploded diagram but doesn`t seem to give a part no.
Hope this saves the ear bashing.

ParticipantRe: Whirlpool ff S20DRSS33 water dispenser
The most probable cause is the water reservoir in the fridge being frozen.
I`ve been out to a couple of Samsung ones lately and I`m pretty sure they all work on the same idea.
The water is taken in and ran through a reservoir in the fridge to cool it. What happens is the reservoir freezes.
Simply defrost the fridge for 24hrs and then set the temperature up a degree or two this will hopefully sort it and prevent it happening again.
If it does reoccur then you will probably have to get an engineer to replace the insulation panel in the back of the fridge.
hope this helps.bazza500
ParticipantRe: RCD tripping house mains?
An entire house test has to be above 1Mohm so this oven is miles inside the limit.
The only thing to check is that the elements don`t go low when they heat and expand but this is extremely unlikely to happen from a reading of 10Mohms.
I do a lot of repairs for our local council after their testers have been and they fail their cookers if the reading is below 1Mohm and this is with them cold.
Hope this helps.

I agree. This site is supposed to be for the benefit of all in our trade and lately between this and someone moaning about the speed of it, I for one am getting cheesed off with people using this site for arguing.
Look, now you`ve got me moaning on it!
Let`s get back to what this site was supposed to be about………. letting the independents help one another.bazza500
