Re: Tales From The Front Lines

Went to a housing association tenent who complained the cooker kept cutting out.

Got there to be met by a spotty faced 17 year old who showed me through the assault course to what he described as a kitchen. He then explained to me that when he puts on the oven the temp light comes on but it goes off after a while and he has to turn the oven temp up to get the oven to come back on and it then burns his food. 🙄

When I tried to explain to him that that`s how an oven works he got stroppy, said I was trying to make out he was stupid and told me to leave.

    £47 for a laugh like that…………. give me more….

    Hi Lee,
If the tacho coil seems ok check the wiring hasn`t chaffed against the lower concrete weight.

Simon46 sounds like he`s hit the nail on the head. Check the concrete block on the front bottom of the drum. The bolts had a tendency to snap.

Only side effect is that you ‘pee’ fluorescent yellow.
Two twice a day till the pain is gone and then you only need one a day.

    ace

Does that mean you pee flourescent yellow 4 times a day in two batches and when it hurts no more you only pee once a day?

    Hi Goatboy,
I went ALL the way to the store and spent my ENTIRE lunch break digging out the dryer and CAREFULLY removed the timer. I have just WALKED ALL the way to the post office and posted it to you. I`ve now WALKED ALL the way back to the shop to pick up my afternoon calls which I will now have to work AFTER FIVE to finish so surely this is worth TWO pints at Sibson. What do you think?

Oh and by the way I can`t make Sibson this year so keep them in the barrel 😆

    Hi Goatboy,
I have an old awz220 in the store. You can have the timer from that if you want. Just let me know where to send it.

You`ll wait long enough on whirlpool spares just now with the fire.

    Hi Kevin,
We inform all our customers about the charges when they phone the call in but it still doesn`t stop them moaning! You get the mathematicians saying that means your getting £240 plus Vat per hour. IF ONLY!!!

Being a diver I find holding the cyclone against a diving cylinder and cracking the valve open tends to do the trick……… but then that is 3500psi. If that doesn`t shift it , nothing will.

By the way don`t do this in doors…………… What a mess it makes. 😕 😳

    Re: Phone Scam?

Surely phoning thousands of people asking if they want to change their Gas/phone/electricity etc.etc. is probably not cost effective but it happens.

Phone 1 thousand people to get email address Bt cost 1000 X .02 +£20

You`ve then got 1000 email addresses you know are correct and current

    Sell it to at least 100 marketing companies = 100 X £50 = £5000!!

Search automatically on the net and how do you know if you`ve got businesses or individuals?
