    Re: JTM again!

The trouble is that carrying van stock doesn’t help.

I have had 2 jobs rejected in the past month because I didn’t order spares against that job. I had used spares that I had from previous jobs that were cancelled.

    Re: JTM again!

I’m afraid I am having exactly the same problem with JTM.

Over £500 worth of spares needing collected and seem to be banging my head against a brick wall.

Contacted Accounts and was told to email the warehouse…emailed the warehouse and was told had to contact accounts…

It seems they are just sending out any spare they want. I ordered a doorseal for a Haier, they sent 2. The spare one writes off the amount for labour and you end up with nothing because you cannot return the extra one. Ordered a soap hose was sent a drawer, reoredred, was sent a clip and now the cost of these 2 spares is more than the labour again.

It is now final straw time for JTM I think.

Re: Water backing up into sink

Most undersink wastes are just screw together parts, so fairly simple to dismantle and rebuild if he is handy.

Without doubt the blockage is in your sink waste somewhere. The appliance is fine.

Servis washing machine modules where resistor R1 fails.

    Symptoms are a dead machine.

Replace R1 with new resistor The value can go from 8ohm 2watt to 47ohm 2watt where the wattage could also be bigger.

I stepped into the kitchen to a large puddle of water around the base of there w/m.

I asked have you used it this AM, no was the reply, we havent used it for 2 days.

So I asked why didn’t you mop up the water, they replied we have 5 times today and it keeps coming.

So I check the appliance, no water in it, I ask if they notice any water in the drum over night etc, no was the reply.

So I’m thinking maybe leaking tap or pipe connection.

Nope all tight, dry and new.

So I politely expalined it is not the appliance, to which they reply that I haven’t checked it properly.

So I explain that I’m oly responsible for the appliance and since they havent used it but are still mopping up water then it is obviously not the appliance at fault.

Too which they kicked off, stated they had a plumber look and he blamed the appliance.

I noticed drips along the pipes running along behind the wall and as I got them too look asked if the plumber could explain why there is water dripping off the pipes, they replied the boiler has a small leak.

I said well maybe the small leak just got bigger, they explained it hadn’t.

So I said OK I’ll do my report and goodbye, they asked what I would say as they required an uplift number which I had to provide before I left.

I was not so polite but firm and explained my report would state what I found, that the water is present when appliance is not being used and hasn’t been used for at least 24hrs.

Then they argued or rather we still trying to argue as I shut the front door behind me.

    Muppets. :rolls:

Are you sure this isn’t a Hoover washer/dryer?

    If so serial number needed.

Re: Pat Test Failure Whirlpool ADP4501/5

    Well, the saga continues….

Got 2 new mains filter units and gave them to the electrician to test before fitting them to the machine and he failed them both although I had insulation tested them and found them >999Mohms. He is again, failing them on 3.9ma.

Does anyone have anything official, in writing, that says this test is not compulsory?
