Re: Indesit WG924G door wont latch.

If this is the machine with the handle at the 2 `o` clock position then the pin that goes through the latch on the door will have came out at one side. You can tell this by grabbing hold of the pin (or hook, whatever you want to call it) and seeing if it moves from side to side.

The door has to be split to re-seat it.

I may be wrong but does the Half Load button have to be selected for the dryer to work on this machine?

    Re: ise 2 fault?

I`ve noticed this as well but don`t think it is a fault. I wondered if it was be more noticable because it was empty.

I would say it is slightly more aggressive than other machines but nothing like having no tacho feedback.

I would check as this is a quote from Connects website.

During april’94 hotpoint changed the way the door seal retains to the front panel. All machines made after this date the seal is permanently fixed to the panelconsequently is it is not possible to replace/refit the seal as a single item. In such cases it will be necessary to replace the panel and air duct assy. Which will be supplied with a seal fitted. Part no. ‘S are listed in appropriate service manuals and the

IIRC Chris, you could only get this seal as part of the front panel. The panel is Obsolete.

First thing I would check is the capacitor. They are prone to going on these dryers with wierd results.

    Hi Bryan,

I seen that one on Connect but according to their picture that one has gold writing. Is their picture incorrect?
