Remember and disconnect the plug that joins the heaters together before measuring or you get a reading through the parallel path.

I have had this fault before.

Check the motor windings. There is a TOC in them that goes open CCT and causes these symptoms.

You can usually open this machine with a screwdriver on the hook without breaking anything else. Through the hole where the door handle was IIRC.

I think you are getting a bit carried away Martin.

The disconnection of the bayonet connector I`ll agree with but your last two point IMHO are ridiculous. “Simply touching the appliance would effect the combustion process”…. Come on!!

Everyone has different views with every bank.

I have been with Royal Bank of Scotland for over 12 years now and I can say they are brilliant. I can phone their branch and speak to the business manager. No call centres. No bull, no nothing.

It is what they say in their advert, You phone and speak to the local branch. NO CALL CENTRES.

My personal opinion ( and it is only my opinion) is that if you can speak to the same person everytime you call then they have a better idea of your business and if they are local then all the better.

For all it is worth, people who struggle with their bank are usually people who are not sticking by the rulres.

I would recommend the Royal Bank of Scotland to anyone.

(and hopefully if they read this I will get discount on my overdraft)

It just a push-in plug. May have two little hooks on it which need lifting but even with these moved they can still need a good pull to get it off.

Probably one of the defrost heaters.

Type samsung in the search box and loads of threads on this will appear.
