Participantno it is unlikly that this fault is the pcb, this fault is a common fault, it is the analogue pressure switch (the black on not the brown one) Part no 182238

ParticipantIs it possible that this appliance is in a damp enviroment ie a cellar. the pcb is easly damaged via damp/ moistre. be careful if ur replacing the pcb as this will happen again if in a damp place!

Participantremove the front panel at the bottom and remove the pipe from the sump to the float switch, this will be blocked up, causing the appliance to not fill with enough water to allow the heater to come on. Usually this pipe once clear will clear the fault, if the blockage has backed up to the float switch, replace it part no:- 482937
This will sort out the problem!

Participantsome of the wash pumps on this range have a ptc start for the wash pump, it is not un common for this to break down under load causing a burning smell.

ParticipantIf you had forgotten to plug the door lock back in you would have the ready light flashing.
The active light flashing indicates that the inlet tap is closed, or the water pressure is less that 1bar @ inlet valve. IE pipes kinked, or strainer is blocked🙂

Participantpart no 264877, you can usually clean up the contact on the rear of the heater relay and re solder it.
