sounds like a loose motor tacho magnet to me……..the diagonstics on these models are good, i would read the fault code!

check for split lower spray arm….they dont rotate and spray into door..had it a few times with AEG slimline dishwashers!

distripart did change the side chambers, they come with an extra pipe with no instructions….could u photograph it and post it…i think he has got a pipe wrong, the second one from the left should be left alone!….it cuaght me the first time i changed one!

hi m8, when u say a matrix has been fitted what is the part number????…..some of these have a conversion that is not indicated in the part packing….do u mean the side tank ?

you can check heater resistance accross A1 and C5 on the PCB ..should be about 25ohms ish…..this checks the complete heater circuit…..takes only 3-4 mins without draaging machine out…if you have the circuit, change the PCB,,,,,
A1 is the big relay terminal and C5 is the next small cable block to the left….i go accross all the terminals until i find the circuit as C5 is not always marked
MAKE SURE A1 IS NOT DISTORTED , BURNT OR BULGING…IF IT IS YOU NEED TO REPLACE CONNECTOR!!

coolling fan will stay on until cabinet cools down…how long does it stay on…if it never goes off check fan initation toc which is in the top cover ( its blue with 4 wires…if it is faulty it goes black!)

not being mr know it all….but make sure u r fitting the right heater to these machines, a lit of the lux machines have double thermal fuses, if u fit the incorrect spec, the result could be a melted tub or fire…i know u all know this but just doting the ‘i’s and ‘t’s!!!!

ahh..they do suffer from leaks from the side chamber/salt regen tank when they are blocked with food….they dump water through an emergency tube into the base….u cant clean them for an effective repair..the only option is replacement of tank….
