    Re: Waste Carriers Licence

ditto….i have been stopped and i used the reasoning that the parts were owned by electrolux and therefore been returned to the factory for quality checks……(actually going in our skip)…

this country amazes me., what do they want me to do…dump them in a country lane ?…….

i do return all in warranty parts…however if a chargeable customer has just forked out £200 plus for a drum change, i think disposing of it is not a real problem…!

Re: New Beko CDA647FW/1 Pcb with no guarantee from masterpar

this might be a loss leader, but have you checked the connections from the compressor into the cabinet via a plug connector!…i have had loads of dodgy connections in these connectors…this might be a complete waste of time, but i have had engineers change starters and compressors for the sake of a loose pin connector!….hope this might help…

on the upside how much did u pay for for the pcb?…beko parts are cheap as chips sold to us at serviceforce!

    thanks chris

i20 fault…..pump not pumping correctly…make sure the pump entry point in the sump is not blocked with pits of rubbish…take filter out, its about ‘5 o clock ‘ down the sump, there is a small grate which is the entry for the pump…i normally find bits of glass, plastic, food blocking it….thats normally a quick and easy repair!

    Re: should sinks be earthed

think you have to use common sense….i cover my arse every call by completing electrolux safety reports for un earthed sinks……i dont care what the electrics are, i follow the proceedures and cover my backside as a serviceforce engineer……what a world it has become !!!!…sad really

normally find the door lock pin has moved and not central in the door inner mounting causing a e40/e41 diagnostic code!….splitting the door and pushing the pin back in normally sorts it…….is there a code in diagnostics?

    Re: r600

do use it for blockages , however you need to cut suction line else you risk blowing the evaporator…..on service calls, its a hassle with a heavy bottle esp in inner london postcodes where parking is not close to call…to be honest , not sure if it is that effective with foamed in evaporators and capillaries…!
