    hi Mark,

    check the front display pcb for ingress of water/conditener had a one that locked out the ic2 bus line to the main pcb do this. if its OK its the main pcb look to see if the potted-in fuse has blown.

    if its frost free is the evaporator fan working as this can give this symptom, if the appliance is working other than the frostback on the return line then the system is overcharge with refrigerant.

    hi Lucy,

    check the rating plate for its climate class,
    Climate class.
    Every fridge has a ‘climate class’, which tells you the range of room temperatures with which it can cope. The two you’re most likely to come across in the UK are N class and SN class.

    Both work effectively in room temperatures up to 32°C.

    N models shouldn’t be used in rooms that become colder than 16°C. SN models shouldn’t be used at room temperatures below 10°C.

    Other classes that you might come across are ST and T. ST models work best at between 18°C and 38°C, and T models between 18°C and 43°C.

    i agree it has got a capacitor its right next to the mains input filter and easly missed 12.5uf i think.

    just carefully clean the hole with an ear bud or a short peice of soft wire then flush some water through to see if it drains away.
