Surely this is connected in Parallel to the heating element.. It’s 24K resistance!

Found some information on the Inland Revenue website.

    Example follows

    Re: Machine washable doormat

    It actually says the opposite.

“Wash separately by hand or in a washing machine at a maximum temperature of 40C.
Line dry or flat dry only.
This product must not be tumble dried.

Please ensure the mat and the floor are both absolutely dry before laying the mat on the floor”.

    Thanks Dave.

Is the information on Diplomat machines readily available? Is there a website?

Is the D program the 60 Degree C? If so I would suspect the hot fill water pressure.

    Re: hoover hnc170 jockey pulleys

Dave, I wont be able to use these pulleys and arms.

The pulleys come as a pair in a sort of caliper fitted to a pin on the motor body. I have lubricated them at the moment but I can’t see them lasting for long.

What a sod of a job to get this machine to pieces!

    Re: hoover hnc170 jockey pulleys

Thanks Dave, The pulleys on the machine look totally different to any I have seen before. The pulleys are riveted to the support arm. Similar to the more recent Creda X245677 assembly.

I will order myself a pair of arms and a pair of pulleys.

    Thanks again.

    Thanks John.

Don’t you think Whirlpool parts are tad expensive?

Somehow I don’t think my customer will bother, it’s been sitting there without a drawer front for months!!!

    Thanks again

    Re: MENTAL BLOCK ?

Have to admit to the occasional pump with no connection plug. 😳 Damned annoying once you put it back under the worktop, fill the thing up and it’s too damned heavy to pull back out.

Apparently the rules allow you to wash a patio 😕

(love the third item )…I am allowed to hose down the cat 😈

I wonder whether my wall can be regarded as a vertical patio 😉
