ParticipantRe: smeg dishwasher Di612c overfilling
Thanks Dave. I’m only going to get one hit at this one. It’s one of those instances where the house has been sold with the appliances and the machine has broken down before completion…

Once the relay has engaged it is basically not involved in the reversing circuitry. I would go for the timer.

ParticipantRe: Hoover dishwasher D7610 Upper spray arm.
The only number I can find is the D7610 on the facia. The rating plate has long gone…
The CAN06011662 spray arm kit contains three parts so it might be interchangeable. Do you know if the top basket part number stays the same throughout the three versions?

Steve, the part I need is for the main oven. It’s a 140C TOC
Thanks

ParticipantRe: Hotpoint WM71
If it was a tacho problem, it would show E30 and abort the spin within a second or so.
My guess is a dodgy triac on the board. If it has been bodged by another repairer, I would leave well alone. You could be digging yourself a huge hole..

Can’t really remember to be honest. It must be 20 years ago that I trained on these machines. I think the pipe that I am refering to is the top of the pressure chamber.

ParticipantRe: jackson dishwasher
Going back over twenty years now, so I might be mistaken…
Under the filter at about 11 o’clock position, there is a two inch high tube sticking up with a small hole through the top.
If I remember correctly, you need to suck any water out of that pipe. Best done with a drinking straw and a small syringe. You can also use a trigger spray head (from a bottle of kitchen cleaner etc) .
Good luck

When you say remove it, do you mean from its storage postion?
Can’t see how it makes a difference…
