Or another way of looking at it, tomorrow you could be a rich man.

    K.

I agree using test equipment is a MUST.

Maybe its just me then but after carefull thought I personally feel uncomfortable about giving techncial advice to someone who has probably very little technical knowledge and certainly doesn’t know what a megger even looks like.

Safest to advise the public to go through trained professional repairers, my opinion only.

Yes I agree with you spimps I am not too worried about those in the trade not doing the full electrical tests as most are former manufacture trained engineers so are at least aware of the risks.

What worries me is encouraging the gereral public / strangers to get involved in repairs when you have no idea of there skill level if any and if they are aware of the the risks.

What a shame. un-helpfull practice for those in the trade. Makes researching part numbers difficult.

    Hi Steve,

thanks for relpying, but can I ask a few questions as the customer is quite keen to get the machine repaired.

where do you get smaller O rings from?
I did not see any retaining clip or catch lever on the air chamber, it just pushes in place and the plastic nut from the air chamber holds it it place from inside the tank like the Electrolux IWMS system.

    thanks

    Hi
I found the rubber bungs do go in the holes if you spray them with wd40 then push them in hard with a philips screwdriver.

I agree with you about the key to open the door, it wont be long before we need to open the door but the customer has lost it.

What else can we use as a substitute?, just dont want to scratch the paint work using something else.

    Hi Rob,
What service provider do you use that is £2.50 per month to divert landline calls to the mobile?

    Yes well done Ken,
Interesting listening as it shows you can get your point over in such a manor that you do not seem loud and overbearing which you are obviously not.
Just goes to show those who shout the loudest and talk the most are often not the best informed.

Good luck, Im sure you will be fine. Try your best to get a bit of shameless advertising for the ISE washers mentioning RRP and availability. (just beware they may never have you back if you do!).
