ParticipantNon stop rebranding at Comet, seems only a few years ago they changed from red and white, then black and gold now orange and white!, I bet you engineers are worried about what uniform they will put you in next!?

Yes seems It may be true about giving £50 off for old appliances, although this particular offer seems to have expired recently.
I would just explain to the customer that you have disposed of the machine and have made no money from the job and therefore are not in a position to pay out for a machine that they agreed with you to scrap.

ParticipantI believe ‘1 min’ in display is the time out code on these machines.
So It could be pump, heater, inlet valves, motor etc.
hope that helps.

ParticipantHi Jontymox,
Seem to remember snipping them all off and bolting the tub back on.
The upper suspension pins have to be drilled out. There is a kit that comes with new suspension legs that tells you the size diameter drill bit required to drill through the plastic supension lug before bolting on the new legs.

ParticipantSo Gorenje take over ASKO then the current run of machine stops while the factory os refitted, I think we have seen this happen before after take overs. . .
I wonder what Gorenje are going to knock out of their new factory?

ParticipantHi Toni
Had a few of these machines with out of balance load problems, redistributing seems to cure it, putting more items in normally.
Failing that can only think the base motor control board could be faulty.

ParticipantSounds like the new owners are just after the name, maybe for a internet launch, like woolwoths.co.uk. I would be very supprised if they attempt a high street relaunch.
