    Re: Washing Machine Dimensions

I delivered the Bosch to an old lady, she was very pleased with it. Obviously no good for family use.
The trouble with this situation is however may times you measure it, when they have doors in front you never know if it fits until you find it doesn’t πŸ™ Most new machines are more rounded on the front, “my old one fitted ok” is no use.

    Thanks very much.
I had a friendly shop (do some work for) order most of my parts at trade but moving this to my end. These odd bits are tricky so I really appreciate the advice πŸ˜€

It is odd that people can have similar calls and see completly different ratios of faults. I have repaired many broken motor wires; only had one pcb damaged, but have had at least 10 taken out by the door interlock. Maybe my customers slam the door in frustration πŸ™‚

Hi, The small chip in the corner is connected to the door lock. I have replaced many of these locks but it doesn’t always blow the chip, but whenever the chip is blown i always change the lock and check the door seal.

To answer my own question; went today, the heater unit was OC. So if you find a merloni DW indicating no fill; look at the heater.

We delivered a Qualtex TT, customer was happy with it; However the Tub-Pump hose split in 3 weeks. It is built like a toy.

My first post, glad to find this site!

I had an elderly man answer the door in a fluster. He popped his head round the door and said I hope I don’t mind but he was undressed. I thought he was showering so said β€œdon’t worry about it” and walked to the dishwasher. He followed me and stood, naked, while I fixed it. I always thought the customers home is not my domain but next time I get a naturist I may ask for some clothes (unless under 45 female).
