Re: zanussi No Frost ZK87/34EF no go

    Thanks, have done so.

The compressor is not being started at all.
It’s a complicated thing compared to the common
    VT9 + defrost timer models.

    Cheers

    Thanks Bob,
as you can tell i don’t go out on much candy frost-free 😳
This is a neighbour who has no space for anything other than onother candy.
Is the defrost timed or thermistor controlled?
May give you a call bob if no easy answer.

    Hi chaps,
just a thought but 2 of my customers have put the selector switch 180 degrees out as some are all white. Its not stop/change prog on the other side of D?

Re: zanussi WDJ1257W E40 not door lock

    Cheers Steve for you advice

I will have a good look over it.

It’s a bit embarasing, when you get a hotpoint wma not locking due to the neutral missing you know 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} the pcb’s blown.

now if this lock doesn’t fix the E40 the odds are a bit less, i have a 50{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} success rate so far fitting the pcb, will have to carry a few “workers” on the van.

    Anyone else having more success?

    Thanks

    Re: Ariston Dishwasher AFA350X

    Hi,
Had a very similar fault, not filling, was the heater.
Any strange faults on this range its worth checking first as it aborts the programme during fill and outputs a no fill fault code.

Re: miele G7762 salt light on

    Thanks guys,
Will have a look this week when my back repairs itself 😯

Yes it’s in a care home, fixed a few faults before but not too sure how the salt light works. I know there is a seperate proramme to refill salt. There is zero chance of them having any info, all i get is “over there” sometime i fix the wrong fault!

    Re: Hotpoint BF71

Hi, if you search BF71 there are a few previous threads.

    Assuming you reset the programme and no water in base;
If the pump works ok via the base float I would have to look a module next. Have a good look at all the edge connectors and solder joints.

    Cheers

    Thanks Boro,
Going tomorrow, I think they said it errors on wash / rinse; would a dryer fault show during wash?

Hi, did you test the heater from the plug?
Sorry if its too silly an idea but it’s tempting to clamp the leads on the heater direct on these elements, done it myself.

As for the d/w aint got a clue mate.

Very true 🙂 Why do your lot only turn up every 4 weeks?

Back to the dishwasher, checked and raised the air-trap today; still have the save fault. It errors after about 1/2 hour, small amount of water in the sump so probably filling or draining. Every time I try a fill or drain it works fine. May have to give up on this unless any further suggestions? (Not from Boro!)

    Cheers
    Graeme
