Re: Creda Spacesaver D/Wash – no heat

Done a few heaters on these, always blocked presure chamber blowing the heater. As Bob said this stops the timer from advancing everywhere. Sounds more like a thermostat fault if heater not to earth.

    WMA belt, cable tie.
Dryer belt, big screwdriver, don’t damage shaft!
Zan seal, love them in fairy.

I hated the old ariston “2 part” door seal. obsolete now!
    Still hate Candy dryers.

Thanks Steve, control pcb cured problem today.
Going to buy a great big mag glass to see the dry joint on old board.
My eyesight is perfect but the components get smaller and smaller 🙂

    Re: Bosch SGS43E02GB/43 cutting out

    cheers Steve,

will prob quote him for pcb. I checked the plug, it had stuck to the back in the past! It failed while in another socket. Also lights coming back on with such a slight tap on the facia, must be around there. Did have a similar fault caused by poor neutral in the socket, worked ok on another that time. Thanks for the advice.

    Re: Bosch SGS43E02GB/43 cutting out

Hi Steve, thanks for quick reply.

I did check for dry joints and bad connctions, all looked fine.
It was a strange one, the customer was a RADAR engineer, had the machine apart and was as puzzled as me. I don’t carry many Bosch spares so didn’t have the correct on/off to try and ran out of time on Sat.

Re: Testing or Bypassing Door Interlock

I have done it a few times in the past.

Apart from the safety issue its amazing how keen the customer is to book a return call when the machine is dead. Once had a woman miss two calls as in her view it was already working; not important to have the interlock. Leave it not working now.

Thanks to all, going back Sat.
I didn’t notice the pump cutting in on fill so shall have a good look at the pressure switch. Have had one stick before.
    Thanks again

Re: Bosch WTL6304GB/02 drying light flashing

    Hi,
    Just to update incase anyone else in the same situation;
The control pcb had been damaged by fluff escaping the front seal. This then caused tracking across component, and throwing up the ntc fault. Tried to clean it up but have had to quote for new pcb.
    Thanks for the help.
    Happy Christmas

I don’t need to google anymore thanks to this site 🙂
Breasts here, a link to a stripping magician!

Yes my “dodgy” CDs do play on my PC.
I think EMI assume all CD players have generic DVD drives inside, not quite true. It’s just depressing to see them **** up another format. SACD………
    don’t ask. 😕

    Hi,
Does sound like a blocked sump hose backing up as it fills activating the pump.

    Re: belling oven problems

Had a single belling oven last week to repair,
fitted a circ element. Just about to go, customer
complains of always overheating. Tested, the temp neon
and thermostat are cutting in and out but oven is still heating!
I have ordered a selector switch and will have more time to trace
the fault next visit. It must be picking up via the selector switch
or a melted wire. I assumed neon off = no heat

Re: zanussi No Frost ZK87/34EF no go

    Thanks Cab,

In case someone else has the same problem,
went back today. The machine is acting like it’s stuck in “dipslay” mode.
All the buttons work but i can’t get into test mode. Quoted for a contol PCB, customer could not wait.

    Cheers
    Graeme
