Yes, the pressure switch in the base, it comes out with a twist.
sometimes just covered in fat but best to change.

    Re: Whirlpool AKZ146/IX Heat problem

Going to bump my own question,
This could be a sensor fault, display pcb or power pcb.

If i phone and advise customer to replace the single oven she needs one with a “stepped” lid, as there is a gas pipe at the back.
Anyone know of any current models that would fit?

    Thanks For any help

    Re: Liebherr Fridge Sensors

Just to update this, fitted the evap sensor listed in your shop.

The plug was different, it did have the same green banding on the sensor end, but it did not work. The fridge did not run at all.
So be careful to get the part correct on these anyone else.

Re: Bosch SKT5102 Tabletop Too Much Water!

    Hi,

Not sure on your model, we had a old Hotpoint tabletop DW -bosch design. If the drain hose was too low at the back the water just ran away, then the machine would keep filling. Try pulling the drain hose up at the back and tie it up. Worth a try,

    Thanks Jem,
Will order the new defrost element.

Probably won’t get involved in the other one as i think its a system fault.

    Hi Paul,
I had the front grill off, could not see any way of getting to the fan. There was a little soft ice, pointed my hairdryer around for 20min but the fan motor was still just humming. Will phone them to arrange to turn it off and defrost.
    Thanks

    Hi,
Only just seen the new site so not had much time to look around.
Having trouble with the search engine, it was “intersting” before but now almost unusable. Still cannot search for LG as a make due to the three character restriction. Tried to search for hoover dishwasher fault codes and it chucks out hoover or dishwasher. Any pointers on how to use it would be great. I have found this site to be a life-saver in the past and 90{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of my use is in searching old posts.
Hopefully this will be resolved, i would pay to have an unrestricted search access to past posts.
    Best Regards

    An update!

Went back and found the bottom edge connector on the pcb had come loose.
This is in circuit with the overflow float, so it worked ok once back on.

    Cheers
