    Hi,
It’s a bit unlucky for the pcb to go the next day, maybe the pump connection has come loose as you had it apart; Not too sure if it stops fill on the indes*** but I have been caught out by this before.

Thanks for the file Chris πŸ˜€

The rubber air trap may need tying-up to stop water sitting in the bottom, if anyone else has the same problem.

    Hi,
Heater faults (Inc earth leaks) may cause all sorts of strange faults on this range, had one last week not filling. A Merloni engineer told me any slight doubt’s they are fitting new heaters.

My wife tells me it’s a wool mix; if you sat in a lab for 10 years it would be impossible to invent a better WM blocker-upper!
Wilf, i have to agree on the feathers; Had a nasty one to clear a while back, it was the smell that got me, two pillows full.

I have been driven mad by scale in the filters, you clean them and can’t re-seal; have to carry a new filter and housing, perhaps not a problem in your area.
The older dryers blow relays on the PCB’s a lot (no motor action, no reverse) also check any protection fuses first. The fan motors can get noisy, rubbish in the fan, broken fan, fan motor bearing moving in the case.

Think it’s a Bosch, had a couple of modules causing no fill; One obviously burnt on the connection block, one not.

Re: Hopoint W/D 64 Dryer TOC

    Good point johnny,

Fixed a drain fault on this WD and the customer said “dryer gets too hot”, I thought how can you tell? The loom had shorted againt the case where the cable tie is, it was turning the dryer heaters on all the time. Good old neutral switching, probably not quite enough juice to blow the fuse.

    Hi,
I have worked in a shop using Stocklink; the parts came via a local distributor. Is the new system going to work the same way?
The people who have the qualtex software already; are you distributors?
