Re: To extend or not ?

We have done this before with no problems, we have also seen this in houses which was done years before. maybe a little support on the heavy stop valve to take off any pressure onto the coupling.

Re: Running a wm motor out of the machine

i would’nt live test a motor in the customers house. but as we have a shop and workshop, customers bring in motors for us to repair or test. after repairing, a live test in a controlled environment with the dimmer switch set up for a slow start is safe and gives you visual and sound proof that the motor is running correctly. this way when the customer gets it back home and theres still a fault you have no dought the fault is’nt in the motor. obviously the tacho coil gets meter checked and visual inspection on the magnet.

if you make yourself up a test lead, you can use a standard dimmer switch to control the speed. had one in the workshop for years. 😉

    Re: Bosch Slimline Diswasher

dry joints on heater relay on pcb are common, although not sure if it would cause this fault. sounds like the program selection maybe out of sink. when you fit a new module it has to be set to the correct model. if you could get your hands on the set up procedure it might be worth a try.
    hope this helps!

from memory (also not that good) i thought the motor came with the capacitor and new fixing plate for the capacitor, that never seemed to fit quite right.

    Re: Bosch D/W SGV53E03GB/74 “Staining”

to reduce the amount of water needed to charge the system, a diverter, (small motorized disc with holes in it) is fitted. as the disc turns it sends water to one spray arm then the other. i have seen motor failure and worn gearing on these resulting in poor pressure to one or both spray arms depending on where the disc stops. biggest problem with this job is that the part only comes with heater assembly at around £100.00 retail, + the fitting time makes it very expensive.

    Re: Bosch D/W SGV53E03GB/74 “Staining”

if its mainly in one basket it could be a fault in the diverter on the heater assembly, im starting to see a lot of these going faulty.
