    Re: S’now joke

    This has been a nightmare in the Borders for weeks now, I have lost so many days and had so many wasted journies being unable to get near outlying areas when I do manage to get out ;
    Icing on the cake today , my diesel has frozen . 😯
    I doubt that I am going to be able to recover from this , having had it very bad back in January and even beginning of April .

    Re: Whirlpool ADP5406 draining too soon

    If this problem has coincided with the recent cold weather , it is quite possible that the NTC in the base of the dishwasher is reading a temperature too cold to allow the machine to run ie if the incoming water is very cold or if the machine itself is in a very cold situation … the indication that it runs ok with warm water priming it points to this

    Re: Whirlpool ADG664

    If the ntc in the base reads a too low ( cold ) reading, this can abort the cycle . try pouring a few litres of hot water in the bottom of the dishwasher before starting the cycle and see how it goes ; had loads of these last winter doing this 😀

    Re: whirlpool F/F model 20RB/D3J

    If either or both of these parts are shorted , then it probably has blown the board ; You need a suitable test meter to check them though ….
    1 is in the back adjacent to the rear board , the other inside the freezer behind the ice cube storage bucket at the back

    Re: whirlpool F/F model 20RB/D3J

    Chances are , the board was damaged by either a faulty water inlet valve or a faulty ice dispensing solenoid , both known issues on these later units , and has probably blown the board again if this hasn’t been rectified
