ParticipantRe: miele t650c
if door opens on it’s own, this is usually down to o/heat stat tripping ; check ducting isn’t restricted ( resettable stat on the internal lower ducting )

ParticipantRe: Wascator interlock
If you go here > http://www.laundrysystems.electrolux.com/node67.aspx and click spare parts catalogue, then search, and by model, all brands, you can then scroll to exploded pics of the interlock section…. alternatively, jla 01422 822282 http://www.jla.com may stock parts
hope that helps, eddiechezza

squadman wrote:I use a miners helmet which is so very useful ! Not only does it keep the light right on where you are working but the other week I had a angry customer who treid to hit me over the head with a frying pan, needless to say that helmet took the blow and I was ok !
I am now thinking of getting a Pit Pony to cut down on my motor running costs !
😀
did that snuff the candle out though ? that could have been a nasty H&S burn situation !

worth also checking that it didnt go unbalanced and pinch wiring somewhere in the loom as it danced

ParticipantRe: Miele T5206 Dryer
might be worth double checking the heater contactor, as they are a known weak point, assuming exhaust and vent side are all clear.

arosview wrote:My customer has a AWB 947/2 washer, about 12 years old. The fault is the motor brushes have gone. In the 16 or so years I’ve been doing this job. I have never had to replace these brushes before.
Can anyone tell me
a. Are the brushes replaceable, if so how, does the brush housing unscrew? it looks like it might crack if any pressure is put on it. Or do I have to change the complete end of the motor?b. Are parts still available, or are they obsolete? It would be a shame the rest of the machine is as if it had come straight out of a showroom

ParticipantRe: Lid Lock Solenoid
jla should be able to help there. part number used to be either 9124 or 9125 ( cant remember which, the other number was the eta relay which controls the lid lock )

ParticipantRe: Lid Lock Solenoid
you will need to know if it is one fitted by jla themselves ( cast body ) or the alternate plastic bodied one supplied by armstrongs if you ring jla.

ParticipantRe: The use of PTFE Tape
if ptfe tape IS used, it should only be the gold gas version, and only ever on the tapered thread fittings, not compression fittings.

ParticipantRe: Maytag TD Mod: MDE5605AES
worth checking the ducting etc are all clear, if this is happening on an auto dry setting, also fan etc unrestricted.

ParticipantRe: Zanussi LS6EA Commercial dishwasher
try the control centre – fairly universal part ( the peristaltic hoses are available seperately if this is all that is faulty )
