Hi Hari
I would carefully consider penguin and kheath’s advice on this as they have given you some excellent advice and they know what they are talking about.
I have worked on several scandinova freezers and the copper pipe “fix” is whats known in the trade as a recall waiting to happen!
The “sticky stuff you resealed is insulating putty – but why did it need to be resealed???? this stuff just doesn’t fall off by itself
A call out from an engineer is cheaper than a new freezer.

Hi Marissa, F13 – Its a problem with the dryer part, but fault codes are only an enginners guideline so there may be a couple of possibilities,

Hi sam if your electric is tripping you’ll need an engineer to sort it, it may be a simple fault or a faulty part but if its tripping out – your dishwasher is electrically unsafe!
Check out repairs@ or the directories section for a local engineer

Hi steve,
How old is your washer? as these are fairly new out,
It possibly could be an electronic fault but definatly needs an engineer to check it out.

Press and hold for about 3 seconds then it’ll beep (unless the board is dodgy!)
The door must be open when you do this

I thought it may be a surge too, but the inline fuses in the control unit appear to be intact.
I’ve had a quick look through the service manual but that isn’t too much help,
Before working on the power board the appliance must be unplugged for at least 3 minutes to prevent shocks! It also says if it has been unplugged wait at least 5 mins before you plug it back in.
There is a “reset circuit” in the main board but no discription on how it works.
So if it doesn’t reset itself have a look in repairs@ or the directories section
for an engineer or pop up your postcode in hereClyde

Hi seeker,
Have you had a look at the motor control module – check the connector plugs for signs of burning,
Pull the plug out first! :plug:

ParticipantRe: MFI (Ocean?) APM6823 Integrated Fridge / Freezer
If its the same as the blomberg freezers (brandt/ocean) the old hinges need to be snapped off and the new hinges can be attached with the aid of a small self tapping screw, part might be available from shop@.

Keep a close eye on yor freezer – you may have defrosted an ice build up inside your freezer but if there is a fault the ice will build up again!
as kheath wrote:If so over-icing was the reason but not the fault, you still need to investigate(engineer) why it happened.
