if the heater is ok – it’ll be the control card the thermistor is attached to it 😉

chatty wrote:Pleased to say there are some helpful people about unlike some on this site who just want to force you to call an engineer for a 30 second job .as for changing bearing’s indespoint do me a favour, every engineer i contacted advised i change the drum 😀

theres no such thing as a 30 second repair – it takes longer than 30 seconds to pull the machine out find where its plugged in and to test it for electrical safety (you did do that didn’t you???)

as for you stripping an appliance down without you noting the wiring – thats an engineers worst nightmare to sort out!

and as for the bearing change the wm range of machines are a bearing change, the wma/wms/wmt tubs are a rear drum change – indespoint may of misread the model number in your post before he replyed

This seems to have made no difference – just wondering where the door locking mechanism actually gets its feeds from.

Are there any online resources for wiring diagrams or maintenance manuals for these models.

take the door trims apart and check that the metal pin holding the door catch is pushed down 😉

Re: Indesit WIL133UK neon 3 flashing.

    light 3 flashing is f02 – motor/module fault

the codes are the same as the widl (apart from f13-f15 dryer faults)

and no parts warranty on this model!

I can either pay £89.98 single callout charge and all parts are free, but the work is only guaranteed for 14 days, if I get any further probs after this it’s another £89.98 😯

Any parts fitted would be guaranteed for 12 months, indesit also cover the whole appliance for 14 days incase it develops a different fault after the repair

Get the contact details from http://www.hotpointservice.co.uk/Service/contact.html
If your machine is still in warranty the repair won’t cost anything. If not it might be cheaper from an independent repairer, but I don’t know!

Mikey-p your appliance only had 2 lights flashing which will indicate a totally different fault, which lights were flashing on yours?

cableclip wrote:can anyone please help, my 14 month old indesit widl126 stops working half way through a wash cycle, when it stops the red lock LED flashes very fast and the delay, easy iron and the 1200-600 green LED’s flash constantly but a great deal slower than the red light. Does this mean anything to anyone, i.e. is it a fault code 😕

Sounds like you may have a draining problem, check your filter and drain plumbing
