Its worth noting that D&G are now adamant that no work of any kind is carried out on a gas or dual fuel appliance unless the operative is Gas Safe registered.

    Hiya
Haven’t got the colour codes to hand but you have to be careful with Lamona, especially if they have a four wire base element.
When grill is selected mains is fed to the grill element via the stat as normal but in oven mode the grill and base element are run in series to drop the top power.
Will have a look and contact if I can find diagram.

Re: Zanussi Built-In Oven ZOB550WL Oven Stat – 3 Terminals?

Hiya & Thanks for your reply.

The oven fan comes on without the stat being operated via the selector switch. At ambient temp and turning the spindle, there is a definite click at around 80 to 100C with the centre terminal to one of the outers then going open circuit????

    Thanks again

    Thanks for your reply Jackal

Also had the thermocouple on van that you mentioned but this does not fit either. The one you mention is for the front to rear burner and it push fits into a clip, it will not fit the rear lateral burner on this cooker. The t.couple needed has a threaded hot end secured by a nut, is very slim, so slim that a stanadard universal won’t fit through the burner bracket either.
Once again, thanks for your trouble. 😀

    Thanks Bazza500

Unfortunately went with this thermocouple but it doesn’t fit. Unlike most of the Bush cookers which have a front to rear burner, this oven has a lateral burner at the rear. The t.couple has a nut at the hot end, is very very slim and doesn’t fit into a clip like the front to rear burner.
Did a PNE with Connect and they came up with the same T/C as yourself, even with the full model, 20 digit serial and type.

Thanks a lot for the reply, I guess this is another two year old Bush destined for the scrapheap.

OOps made a mistake with the Crown. It needs the main hob burner, not the main oven burner.

    Apologies

    Re: Britannia Bought?

If this is the case it could be a good opening for Ilve to start selling their products directly in the UK.
Basically, Britannia were just a distributor for Ilve with an early agreement (pre-mid 90’s) to badge their goods “Britannia”. Its a shame for some of their long serving engineers like Lee, Matt and Pete; I hope they don’t go out of the industry.

    Re: Britannia Bought?

It will be interesting to see how the Britannia sale pans out over future months. Most of the stuff sold by Britannia is manufactured by Ilve in Italy. Knowing the owners of Ilve, I wonder how they will feel about Britannia being owned by another manufacturer with links to the lower end of the market. Ilve strive to present their products as “high end” and have markets worldwide; they may see this sale as potentially damaging. I suppose it depends on the wording in contracts but I do know they can take things very personally and have great pride in their products.

Thanks all for replies. Recontacted Beko today and they gave me a different password. Seems our old password we’ve been using for years expired.

    Re: Dual Fuel Cookers

Just a quickie. Hobs cannot be connected via a flexi anymore unless it specifically states so in the installation instructions. If you find one on a flexi its not to current standards.

    Hi
Might seem a bit basic but have you checked the door switch?? There is a small plastic nib that the door closes against and it commonly breaks off.
