Couple of years ago i delivered a graded Hoover washing machine one of the Six range if I remember. Installed the thing, then put it on for a water test.
I couldn’t get it to work, so I had the top off (obviously the customer wasn’t too pleased).
Got power to it etc, board and connectors seemed ok.
About half an hour later i was testing the mains switch and realised the wording on the facia was wrong. It showed push in for on and it was an out for on type.
My how we laughed.Not!!!!

Fault code spot with this one.
Heater element ( Whirlpool tube type) down to earth.
Very much like the Indesit dishwashers but you dont have to strip the thing down to get the bottom plate off!! 😀Oh joy!!

For some reason someone split Leyland ( five miles away) into two 😯 and I’m not used to it yet.
We do repair all makes, I must have forgot LG. Its easy to with such a small name!!Please ammend me listing.

She’s rung again to tell me it’s now led’s 2 and 4 so the heater sounds cheaper than a software fault. She might even pay for that one 😉

I did a call not too long ago, and when the lady answered the door she almost fainted when I said I was there to fix the washer.
” Bl**dy hell……I haven’t rung you yet, its only just packed up!!!!!!!”
But the call was booked yesterday says I. 😯
Turns out the call was round the corner in the Drive and I’d gone to the Close with the same name.
Got two jobs out of it though!!!! 😉Tony C
