If you’re after finding a postcode for an address or vice versa, Royalmail.com has a postcode finder which works well.

Bit late in payment (no payment, queried it with them and they got back later the same day saying a cheque was sent but not cashed, I replied I can take card or BACS and was paid straight away) so I haven’t had any real major problems with them, apart from getting jumpy because of all the stuff on here.

That is something I find a lot. Mention what they have done can have fatal consequences and they go all yeah whatever. Had one yesterday, ****head had left the top off a wm52, live electrics round the timer, machine next to the draining board. When I mentioned this his clever arse g/f said “And thats why we haven’t washed up today”. Why don’t some people just admit they f88ked up rather than trying to be clever.

Masterpart send out email copies of order/ invoice as well as the boxed one.
Must admit though Qualtex are peeing me off now just putting a pick list in the box. With everyone else I can pick and price at my delivery point, with Qualtex I have to print off the order and keep it with me till the parts come in 👿 . Just one of those little niggles that stops things running as smooth as normal 😉

How do we stand in trying to get the customer to pay us for the job. Difficult I know as they feel they have already paid once, but they have parts in their dishwasher that I supplied.

Thanks Jim 😀 , Masterpart lists C00115691 and C00095277 too for that model. Like someone else mentioned yesterday , their search facility is now utter pants 🙁

Funnily enough, I have a thread on here somewhere about Eazylet in Leyland, Lancs. Took him six months to pay up until I found out that BAE systems were his main tenant and contacted them regarding the bill. He still avoided payment twice and had the cheek when we finally met up to ask if I’d do another call for him. Clown!!!!

Also can you imagine going into someones kitchen (their pride and joy no matter how crappy it is) and pointing out AND taking photos of every bit of scratched floor, chipped tile etc and THEN getting them to sign that their kitchens a bit of a mess.
Phew!!! It’s time we started wearing hard hats too.
