1st phonecall on the morning today was just as I parked up for the schoolrun at 8.45. Asked if I could ring her back in twenty minutes she said no problem she’d ring back. You guessed it, I rang her back to be told she’d rung someone else. 👿
Then a call on a Whirlpool hvy duty drier. He knew all about every sodding thing I did even the rating of the ‘6.3Amp fuse on the left hand side under the cover’ 👿 . Or is it the ‘thermal fuse on the blower cover, got all my info off the Sears site in the States even the prices’ 😈 .
Then why didn’t you fix it then?

They had checked the filter but still no drain. Chased me twice in the afternoon cos his wife was wanting to start washing. On my way there he rang to cancel saying she had looked in the filter and found 5P. 😈 😈
I’m counting down the days to my short break at Gt Yarmouth even more now :haier:

Yep the two types are spring or clamp fixing.
Numbers are 80464400075 and 807227673 and I fitted C00262267 seal after visiting the font of all knowledge :worthy: so it MUST be the right seal 😉Tony

Sorry Martin I was being a bit general. The model is a WIXL163 with a mucky boot(spring retainer type). No problems before fitting the new one. Just no gap now.

Why does signing in with the stroppy receptionist who looks down their nose at you and getting a guest pass annoy me so much, especially in a one room office 👿

A lot of the front mounted push switches are soldered directly onto the pcb with very little support, dry joints a plenty through normal use, occasionally you’ll need a new pcb.
