ParticipantRe: Candy C514
Old post I know but did anything ever get resolved on this call. Have changed the interlock and supressor as it showed some signs of an overheat, sent the boards to EMW which was ‘repaired’ but the same fault persists. Customer complained of before the no start fault was permanent that he’d select a programme and it would decide to start some time later.
Have tested everything through but nothing else is showing.TC

ParticipantRe: Vance Miller
Considering he’s so high profile and with his reputation I’m surprised more people haven’t taken a pop at him. Not that I’d condone any Vancegilantes at work 😉

ParticipantRe: Yellow Pages
Had a similar thing with the rep this year. Told him initially I didn’t want to spend more, he came back with some nice looking (but too corporate looking Ads), then the schedule came through…..£2k more than last year. Told them to cancel the ads and I would do the artwork myself (as usual). Smaller ads with all the correct wording and no charge for artwork (hope nobody minds me using an AW23 pic 😳 😉 ) and now pretty much back to last year. Smaller ads but a bigger prescance on t’interweb. They can be real cheeky barstewards though, the reps most of the time can’t really be arsed as they flit between jobs at the drop of a directory.

ParticipantRe: Connect Guarantee
Been trying now to return some stuff for three months. Three we’ll ring you backs, one email logged but no reply, one person requesting email for return number, sent email ……nothing. Three of the items are being returned as wrong descriptions from Connect. 😈

Maybe you could stick a VTD00P in the back and run it on a timeswitch for a short period without a load. It should draw in air from the van and dry it.
Mmmmmm condensation or lack of sleep. I’ll stick with the water ta 😉

Cheers Chris, you’ve confirmed my fears 🙁 .
Would be a doddle if only it had the removable right side panel shown on the pic 😈 as the bearings themselves are easy to change its just the access. Typical!!!TC

ParticipantRe: Advertising with BT Customer Street Websites
I let Yell.com build me a free SEO website a couple of months ago.
It was utter pants and worded like it was translated from Japanese.
Told them if I came across that site as a customer I’d skip to another as it seemed so poor. I think (hope) it was removed, but since then keep getting calls to repair LCD t.v.s :con: and come up first in Google if you put in LCD repairs Preston 😥
I don’t even own one.TC
